We're currently working on plans for a national tour next summer (don't worry we'll be keeping busy in the mean time with recording music and playing shows all over the Western half of the U.S too). Updated our FAQ
We've been working hard behind the scenes to try and learn fancy HTML code and update our website. While we graciously had the help of Bootcore Grafix design and set-up our website, we didn't have as much as the technical know-how to update...until now.
Plus, we've been busy with tour, writing and record music, releaing a new music video, and more. Expect more frequent updates to come. And visit this sit more.

How the Wicked Live
We've released a new music video for our song "How the Wicked Live" from the album "Pageantry." It's a Battle Royale inspired video (if you haven't seen the iconic Japanese horror film, do yourself a favor and rent it now!).

New Album Update
We are pleased to announce that producer/ engineer, Brandon Eggleston, will be mixing our album! Brandon has worked with artists such as Modest Mouse, The Mountain Goats, The Pharmacy, Desert City Soundtrack, Harvey Danger, Bone Thugs in Harmony, Pretty Girls Make Graves, The Tragically Hip, Josh Ritter… This new Slants album will hit harder than ever (plus have you singing the songs from dusk til dawn)

Recording...done!
Yesterday, we spent another 12 hours in the studio to finish up recording drums, guitar parts, and back up vocals for the album. I can't believe it, we're finally done. After spending almost two years writing new material and the last few months recording/producing, it's finally ready to get mixed and mastered. That means we'll probably have a digital version in the first two weeks of January and physical copies a few weeks after...
As soon as get the mastered versions back, we'll have the album ready for pre-order on our brand new website! We've hired the same graphic designer who did the artwork for our Myspace page to re-do theslants.com and can't wait to launch the site with all new features (including an improved e-store) along with the new album.
